This country’s generally too romantic. I’ve been saying that lately. People argue that no, when it comes to Swiss people there’s nothing romantic here. Well, people aren’t from Finland; it’s understandable. They don’t know to which I compare this.
The first picture here is the first picture I took when landing to Zurich and moving here; while I was standing on the platform waiting for the tram. After that it’s been lots of rain, new people, new things and environments. But also some nostalgia; a short getaway trip to Lausanne almost 4 years after the first visit; couple of old friends and even ideas.
Staying in from the rain, walking and running in the rain. But a heatwave too; morning run to the lake before it got too hot; lakeside hang and swim at lunch hour. Coffee and cafés.
It’s been lots of beer and football and wine and cheese. Amazing sunsets and crazy thunderstorms. People from far away places with so many different stories and loves and hates. And oh boy how I wish so many more people would be here to share this all with me. *Miss you!* And it’s been midsummer too; with roses, lakes and beer, but unfortunately no sauna. Though it was nice nevertheless.
Switzerland is a good idea. Beautiful and working idea. Even in almost nonstop rain.
Now my feet are aching and I feel sorry for not having more time to write about all that’s happened and all my favourite places here. But it’s been worth it – both the ache and the time spend and concentrated 100% on other things.
Talk to you later!
